I prefer a fall reunion this year if possible. Life is crazy busy until after I finish grad school this August. :)

I vote we have it in the city.

I'm with Kim on having it in the city! =) I also think something casual and fun...nothing formal!

I agree with fall, too much in the summer with weddings and vacations. September would be good when the weather is still nice. Plus it gives me more time to lose the baby weight...I have a 7 week old daughter :)

I think seeing all you people would make me the happiest guy in the world. I'm down for the fall reunion. if anyone is interested in dismantling the bureaucracy of this government in favor of a more just society... please reply. Especially if you want to help me change columbus day into a day in observance of the genocide against native americans, I'd like to talk to you. There's something really wrong in teaching kids that the colonization of this land is a mark of progress...

Fall sounds great with me! It gives those of us who do not live in State anympore adequate time to make travel plans.

Chicago would be a nice place for a reunion site, but I don't think there is anything wrong with getting dressed up for a SEMI-formal event....could be a lot of fun!

Fall would work better for me. I don't really care about the location, just give everyone ample time to plan.

Kumar, my hubby and I are interested in what you've got to say. I read the first chapter of Howard Zinn's book, The History of the United States a few years ago and I was so appalled. It was the first time I realized that what we were taught in school was not what actually happened at all. So I've always taught my daughter that Christopher Columbus is not someone to see as a hero. And congrats on the engagement to Nikki!

If we want to get the most people to attend we should consider November. People come back to Shcuamburg to spend Thanksgiving with families. This is traditionally a big time for high school reunions.

I can't believe it's been 10 years! I agree fall would be best. The summer is too full with weddings and trips. I am up for helping so just let me know what I can do! Can't wait!

P.S. - Update on me. I graduated from UIUC in 02 with a communications degree. I moved home and shortly after that moved to the city where I have lived since 03. I now live in a condo with my husband K.C., we just got married in Oct. 07. I work as a product manager for a publishing company in Skokie where I have been for 5 years.
