- Alumni Club Schaumburg - '97 had their reunion there
- John Barleycorn Schaumburg - corner of National and American, opening this month
- Schaumburg Convention Center
- Lincoln Park or Brookfield Zoo
- Odyssey, or one of the other ships at Navy Pier
- Various banquet halls - the Seville, the Cotillion in Palatine, etc.
- Keg party in Busse Woods
Next step, I think, is to call up these places to see if the can accomodate a group our size and what sort of packages they have. Also we would need to inquire about available dates. Would anyone like to volunteer to do some of this research, and then report back their findings?

I can look into the Convention Center pricing and Barleycorn.
On a side note: I'd prefer to do something different than the Class of '97. Why do the same thing they did last year?
A keg party in Busse woods? LOL Are we 10 years OUT of high school, or still in??? Seriously. Outdoors (especially if the reunion is going to be held in the fall) is probably pretty iffy anyway being in Chicagoland.
Yeah, I don't think Busse Woods was a serious suggestion.
So what is this Barleycorn place? I'm not familiar....
I was in the Senior Class Club, but I don't remember what Rupa said happened in the Gym...not like that means much. But I'm willing to help out.
And I never even went to those keggers, and I'm not going to start now!
I'll call up the Cotillion and Seville and see what the prices are.
I'll get prices for Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, couple of different months....how many people?
We graduated with like 632 or something, but how many will come and how many will bring people? Just so I know what to ask.
I just looked up some restaurants/bars in Schaumburg. Entourage (thanks Katie) actually looks perfect and can accommodate up to 800 people. Check it out - www.entourageventures.com. I submitted a request for proposal today and will report back as soon as I hear from them.
Entourage looks great!!!!
Barleycorn's is always a good time. For people that have not been to their Wrigleyville local, they have a bar downstairs and upstairs they have a dance floor and a beer garden.
I've gotten word from the Cotillion, but not the Seville. So far it's approx. $47+tax for Sat., and $39+tax for Friday and Sunday. $19 if we want cash bar...but I don't think so.
They said they'll work with us if we have a budget too...but a restaurant party sounds good too.
